Events News Desk!!! This time, the soldiers performing stunts on motorcycles in the Republic Day Parade on 26 January will be from the Indian Army. Last year, brave soldiers of BSF had shown stunts on motorcycles in the parade. This time the theme of the Republic Day Parade is Golden India-Development and Heritage. This time a marching contingent from Indonesia is expected to participate in the parade. Last time, a marching contingent from France took part in the parade. Last time the parade speed of the French marching squad was 80-85 steps a minute. Whereas the speed of all the Indian players was around 108 steps in a minute.
Indonesian contingent will come to India for the parade
According to sources, this time the Indonesian contingent will reach India about two weeks in advance to ensure better preparation and coordination during the parade. This time an effort is being made to complete the entire parade in 90 minutes. Therefore, this time there will be two less marching squads in the parade as compared to last time. Last year, there were a total of 16 marching contingents in the Republic Day parade.
This time 14 marching squads participated in the parade
This time a total of 14 marching squads will participate in the parade. This will include 8 squads i.e. Army, Navy and Air Force. Five squads will be from forces under the Home Ministry and one squad will be from the Coast Guard. There will also be a BSF squad in it. In which decorated camels will also be seen. There will be a total of 25 tableaux in the Republic Day parade, which apart from the tableaux of various states, will also have tableaux of the Department of Military Affairs (DMA), DRDO, Assam Rifles and Coast Guard.
5000 artists will perform together
6 pipe bands will participate in the parade. Last time in the parade, 3000 artists had shown a glimpse of the country’s culture on the duty path, this time 5000 artists will together give a glimpse of India’s development, heritage and culture on the duty path.
