Summer Hair Care Tips: In the summer season, both skin and hair are affected a lot. Where the skin gets tanned by the sun, the hair becomes lifeless. In such a situation, both require extra care. For the time being, we are telling some tips that will help you keep your hair healthy.
1) Drink more liquid things
Take care of your hair as much as you want, but if you are not drinking enough water, then nothing is going to benefit you. Opt for cold drinks that will help you keep your hair healthy and hydrated. Include fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet as much as possible.
2) Avoid blow drying
Try to blow-dry your hair as little as possible. Try not to do that. Avoid flat irons as well, as they will further damage already dry hair.
3) Do not tie the hair too tight
Girls often tie their hair tightly after being troubled by the heat, but you should not do this, it can damage the hair. A messy braid is good to keep your hair under control and reduce sun exposure.
4) Cover the hair
If you are out in the sun, use a scarf or hat to cover your head. It gives you extra UV protection, as well as helps the scalp retain moisture. Use a hat to reduce wind damage, especially if your hair is more tangled.
5) Try co-washing
Hair gets dirty in summers and daily cleaning is very important. But shampooing is not the only option. Co-wash your hair, that is, wash it with conditioner. Wet your hair, use conditioner for 2 minutes and wash off. Daily co-washing can clean your hair to a great extent and save you from shampooing for 3-4 days.
