500 grams ripe mango 300 grams sugar 1 tbsp lemon juice

First step- First of all, know that you can make mango jam from the mango of any variety, but the mango which has less fibers and the pulp is more, it is perfect to make jam. If you want, you can take Safeda or Hapus Mango for Jam.

Second step- First peel the mango and take out its pulp. Put this pulp in the mixture and blend it well so that it becomes a smooth puree and does not avoid mango pieces.

Third step- About 300 grams of puree will be made from 500 grams of mangoes, put it in a pan. Now take the same amount of sugar and mix it in the puree and keep it on the gas to boil. The gas has to be kept medium and keeps mixing mangoes and sugar slowly. After about 5-7 minutes, add 1 teaspoon lemon juice to it.

Fourth step- After this, 5 more minutes will be taken, after which mango and sugar will cook well and its color will also be a little transparent. Keep in mind that during the formation of mango jam, puree bubbles are formed in the pan, which can be used in the middle to avoid. But the pan is not completely covered.

Fifth step- When the jam remains a little thin consistance, turn off the gas. Remember that if the jam becomes more thick after cooling, then when it is like a thick puree, turn off the gas.

The right way to store jam


Remember to store jams too that there should be a glass jar and it should be starled. This does not spoil the jam for 2-3 months. Actually, if the jam is filled in a box with plastic or light moistur, it can deteriorate in 5-6 days.



To sterilize, add glass jars and lids in strong boiling water and wash it well. After this, after drying it completely, fill the jam in it.



In just 30 minutes of hard work, a big tasty and homemade mango jam is ready. You can give it to children by applying bread, bread as well as biscuits. This jam can be tried in other recipes like mango pulp or puree.
