how to clean a burnt press
Even today, people iron their clothes themselves in most homes. In office and school going homes, ironing is done in a hurry in the morning. In such a situation, if your iron has turned black or some cloth has burnt and stuck to it, it can spoil other clean and washed clothes as well. Often, due to a little carelessness, the cloth gets stuck to the plate of the iron. If you want to clean such a stained iron, you can adopt some simple measures. This will make your iron completely clean and you can iron other clothes without any hassle.
How to clean burn stains from iron
Let the iron cool down and then take any toothpaste in a bowl. Take about 2 teaspoons of paste and add 2 teaspoons of baking soda to it. Now add about 2 teaspoons of vinegar to it and mix all the ingredients to make a paste.
Apply this paste on the iron and leave it like this for 5 minutes. After this, when the time is over, try to clean the stains on the iron with the help of a scrubber. Start rubbing the stains on the iron with a light hand. When it is clean, clean it with a dry cloth. By cleaning it 2-3 times in this way, your black iron will become completely clean.
Now turn on the iron and press it 2-3 times on an old, damaged cotton cloth. This will completely clean any remaining dirt. You can clean the iron completely in this way.
If you want, you can clean the press with the help of only baking soda and lemon. For this, put 3-4 spoons of baking soda in a bowl. Now squeeze 2-3 spoons of lemon juice in it. Make a thick paste and prepare it. Now apply this mixture on the press and leave it for 5 minutes. Now clean the press by rubbing it with a brush.
