Recipe for Prasadam Laddu

Tirupati Balaji Temple is in the news these days. This temple located in Tirupati district in Andhra Pradesh is dedicated to Lord Vishnu’s incarnation Venkateshwara. It is believed that the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled here, so thousands of people come to visit this temple every day. In this temple, gram flour laddu made of desi ghee is offered as bhog. Because of this, this prasad ‘laddu’ is also very popular among the people. If you want to make prasad laddu of desi ghee offered to God at home, then you can easily make gram flour laddu. To get the taste like the temple, the amount of dry fruits will have to be kept more. Let us tell you its recipe.

Ingredients for making Prasadam Laddu:

Two cups gram flour, one cup ghee, one cup ghee, powdered sugar, 15 cashews, 15 almonds, 15 raisins, one teaspoon pistachio flakes and one teaspoon cardamom powder

How to make Prasadam Laddoo?

First step: To make laddus, first take a big pan and add one cup of ghee. After the ghee melts, add two cups of gram flour to it. After mixing the gram flour well, fry it on low flame till it turns brown, when a mild aroma starts coming from it, then reduce the flame of the gas completely.

Second step: Now chop cashews, raisins and almonds very finely. After chopping, mix these dry fruits in gram flour. Then add a little water to the gram flour. This makes the gram flour laddu grainy. Now keep the gram flour on the gas until its water dries up. When the water dries up, turn off the gas and take out the gram flour in another large vessel.

Third step: When the gram flour is slightly warm, add sugar powder and cardamom powder to it and mix well. When the sugar and gram flour are mixed well, take the mixture in your hands and start making laddus. Keep the prepared laddus aside in a plate and press and stick pistachio shavings on top. Your Desi Ghee laddus are ready
