For this, 19 centers have been set up across the country, where this vaccine will be administered to the youth and its results will be recorded.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Medical Sciences and RML Hospital have been selected for the trial of this vaccine in Delhi. About 545 people will be given vaccine doses here. Similarly, in other centers of the country, the same number of people will be given this vaccine at each centre. The trial in RML has been started by giving the vaccine on 27 September 2024.
Regarding the vaccine trial, Dr. Ajay Shukla, Director of RML Hospital, said that this trial is being conducted under the supervision of Dr. Neelam Roy, Head of the Community Medicine Department of the hospital. After two trials were successful, the Union Health Ministry has given permission for the third phase. If this trial is successful, it will be a historic step to prevent dengue disease in India. People of two age groups, 18 to 45 and above 45 years of age, have been selected for the third phase trial of this vaccine.
Dengue outbreak is increasing again in Delhi
Let us tell you that compared to last year, this time more cases of dengue are being seen not only in Delhi but across the country. According to the report of Delhi Municipal Corporation, more than 300 dengue patients have been reported in Delhi in a week. Whereas more than 1200 dengue cases have been found in the entire month. As soon as the rainy season ends, there is a sudden increase in dengue cases. Every year hundreds of people die due to dengue in India. In such a situation, this vaccine will prove to be lifesaving.
