Like August 2025, many financial rules are going to be changed every month, which can affect the pocket of the common man. Credit card rules, LPG prices may change, while many changes are also going to happen regarding UPI. These 6 changes can put a burden on your pocket and affect your budget. Let’s know which rules are changing from next month.
First- If you are a SBI card holder change in credit card, you may get a big shock, as SBI is going to shut down free air accident insurance cover on several co-branded credit cards from August 11. Till now SBI-UCO Bank, Central Bank, PSB, Karur Vaishya Bank, Allahabad Bank used to give a cover of Rs 1 crore or Rs 50 lakh on some Elite and Prime Card.
Second- Changes in the price of LPG can change the price of LPG or commercial cylinder this month as every month. On July 1, the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder was amended and it was cut by Rs 60. The price of commercial cylinders has been changed several times, but there has been no change in the price of LPG cylinder yet. In such a situation, it is expected that the price of LPG will be reduced from August 1.
3- The changing rules of UPI will apply many new rules related to UPI from August 1. If you regularly use Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay or any other payment third platform, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has changed several rules to reduce pressure for you and provide better payment facilities. NPCI has implemented some new boundaries, which will not have any effect on your payment, but some limitations will be applied to balance checks, status refresh and other things.
Now you will be able to check the balance only 50 times a day with your UPI app. Now you will be able to check the bank accounts connected to the mobile number only 25 times a day. Netflix or mutual fund installments such as autope transactions can now be processed in only 3 time slots. Before 10 am, 1 pm to 5 pm and 9.30 pm. Now you will be able to see the status of unsuccessful transactions only 3 times a day and there will be a gap of 90 seconds between each investigation.
Fourth- Changes in CNG, PNG prices are often seen that oil companies also change the prices of CNG and PNG every month, but there has been no change since April. The last time CNG-PNG prices changed on 9 April. Then Mumbai had CNG ₹ 79.50/kg and PNG ₹ 49/Unit. This was the fourth increase in six months.
Fifth- Bank holiday: The Reserve Bank of India releases the bank holiday list every month. RBI instructs banks to close on festivals and other important dates except weekends. However, these holidays can be on different dates for different places.
Sixth- The price of air turbine fuel (ATF) can also change from 1 August, as oil marketing companies not only change the LPG price on the first date of the month, but also change the price of ATF Price. Its prices fluctuations directly affect the ticket prices of the passengers.
