Almora: The disease of cancer is continuously increasing. No concrete treatment has been found yet. As soon as this disease is detected, the sick person and his family members become mentally and financially broken. There are many types of cancer, ranging from simple cancer to bone cancer, blood cancer, breast cancer etc. Some of these cancers are seen only in women. Breast cancer and cervical cancer are the main ones in this. So today we are going to give you authentic information about cervical cancer given by its expert doctor.
For this, the team of Local 18 had a special conversation with Dr. Rahul Singh, an oncologist from the Medical College located in Almora district of Uttarakhand. Cervical cancer is also called cancer of the mouth of the uterus. Doctor Rahul Singh told that cervical cancer i.e. cancer of the mouth of the uterus is seen in women above 40 years of age. The incidence of cervical cancer is higher in the mountains. Cervical cancer treatment is also possible because we know its symptoms.
The doctor told that it is caused by HVP virus. Vaccines regarding this are also available in the market and women can get them administered. Using these vaccines can also cause a decline in it.
These are the symptoms of cervical cancer
Oncologist Dr. Rahul Singh said that the symptoms of cervical cancer are vaginal bleeding in women, bleeding during sexual intercourse, bleeding on days other than periods. Apart from this, a woman who experiences weight loss, waist pain or back pain can be a symptom of cervical cancer.
Actually, there are four stages of cancer and it is treated according to the stage. If cervical cancer is detected in its early stages, surgery can be done. If its stage increases then chemotherapy and radiation are required.
