Benefits of dry fruit laddu
If you have frequent pain in your bones, then include such things in your diet which provide you calcium and vitamin D. For example, to fulfill the deficiency of vitamin D in your body, you can also consume dry fruit laddus. These laddus made in desi ghee will not only strengthen your bones but will also control sugar. Because to make it you will not have to use sugar or syrup. So, let’s know how to make these dry fruit laddus?
Ingredients for Dry Fruit Laddu:
One cup almonds, one cup cashews, one cup walnuts, 2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds, 2 tablespoons watermelon seeds, 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds, half a cup dry coconut powder, one and a half cup dry figs, one and a half cup dates, half a cup raisins, 3 pieces of jaggery, one cup ghee, teaspoon cardamom powder
Method for making Dry Fruit Laddu:
First step: Wash and soak one and a half cup of figs, half a cup of raisins and one and a half cup of dates in water at night. In the morning, remove the seeds from the dates and then put all three in a mixer jar and grind them finely.
Second step: Now turn on the gas and place a pan on it and add half a cup of ghee. When the ghee is hot, add one cup almonds, one cup cashews, one cup walnuts (coarsely ground), 2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds, 2 tablespoons watermelon seeds, 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds and half a cup dry coconut powder and fry until golden. When they turn golden, take them out in a large bowl.
Third step: Now add 2 tablespoons of ghee in the same pan. When the ghee is hot, add 3 pieces of jaggery and let it melt. When the jaggery melts, add the mixture of figs and dates to it and cook for a few minutes. (If you are a diabetic patient, do not use jaggery in this laddu)
Fourth step: Now add the dry fruit mixture to this mixture of jaggery and figs and mix all the ingredients well. When the mixture cools down a bit, take it in your hands and make round laddus. When the laddus are ready, keep them in an air tight container. You can use these laddus for up to a month.
