The Government of India runs many schemes for the citizens of the country. In these, different schemes are brought keeping different people in mind. Crores of people of the country get the benefits of the schemes of the Central Government. The government also has many schemes for women. The Maharashtra government had launched a new scheme for the women of the state this year. The name of this scheme is Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana in which the government gives Rs 1500 every month to the beneficiary women. But the government has set certain eligibility criteria to avail the benefits of the scheme. Under which the money of these women of the state will not be fulfilled in the scheme. Under the Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana, the government has set some rules and eligibility. Under the scheme, women whose family income is more than Rs 2.5 lakh per year. They will not get benefits. Any member of the family is an income tax payer. Or any member of the family is posted as a regular, permanent or contractual employee in any department of the Government of India or State Government. Rs 1,250 or more per month from any scheme of the Government of India or State Government, either by the woman herself or by any member of the family.
The woman or any member of her family is the Chairman, Director or Member of any Board, Corporation, Board or Undertaking of the Government of India or a State Government. Or any four-wheeler other than a tractor in the name of a family member. Or the woman and her family have more than five acres of agricultural land. Then women will not get benefits.
There are still many such women in Maharashtra. Those who have not applied for the scheme. Now if any woman wants to apply for the scheme. Then she can apply both online and offline. To apply offline in Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana, the form can be submitted in the government office, Anganwadi Sevika, Setu office.
