It is believed that the wishes of lovers are fulfilled in the Ishqiya Ganesh Ji temple located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The priest of the temple says that this temple is about 100 years old. People come here to ask for their wishes for marriage or auspicious tasks. It is believed that the relationship of unmarried boys or girls is soon decided by coming to this temple. This temple is of Lord Ganesha. On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the crowd of loving couples in this temple increases significantly.
This temple was established as Guru Ganapati Temple. Today it is famous as Ishqiya Ganesh Temple and every day a large number of people, especially couples reach here. Local people say that this temple was at a place where the movement of people was less. Because of this, loving couples used to come here to meet here, so that they could not come in anyone’s eyes. Crowds of lovers started coming here and Ganesh ji started fulfilling the wishes of lovers. According to beliefs, after worshiping here, people get married by the grace of Lord Ganesha, so it came to be known as Ishqiya Ganesh Temple. A fair of loving couples is also held here every Wednesday.
