Godda. You all must have heard the name of Amar Bel. This is a parasitic plant, which you will see in nearby forests or fields. The Amarbel plant depends on other trees. It survives by sucking nutrients from trees and destroys the trees around which it clings. However, the medicinal importance of Amarbel is quite high in Ayurveda.
Godda’s Ayurvedic doctor Ratan Kumar Shukla told Local 18 that the stem of Amarbel is used in Ayurvedic treatment. By grinding or crushing it, it is mixed with sesame oil, from which a beneficial oil for hair is prepared. Regular use of this oil makes hair shiny, soft and healthy. Apart from this, if fresh juice of amaranth is applied directly on the hair, it is beneficial for the health of the hair.

The doctor further said that Amarbel juice helps in strengthening the liver and improving its functionality. It is also considered beneficial in diseases like jaundice. Its regular consumption can be helpful in controlling liver diseases.
Provide relief from gas also
From medicinal point of view, Amarbel also proves helpful in problems related to piles and gas. Its stem paste is used in the treatment of various diseases. It is considered an important medicine in Ayurveda, which is helpful in curing many types of diseases.
