What documents are required in PM Awas Yojana and how to apply? Know everything here

There are many such schemes in the country, which benefit the needy and poor people. These schemes are run especially for these people. Be it the central government or the state government, both work to provide benefits to the people through various schemes. Take the Central Government’s Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana as an example. A large number of people are currently taking advantage of this scheme, which was started in the year 2015. So if you also want to benefit by joining this scheme, then you will have to check your eligibility.

Must know these things:-

Those who are applying in Economic Weaker Section i.e. EWS, their annual income should be between Rs 0-3 lakh.
The annual income of low income group i.e. LIG applicants should be between Rs 3-6 lakh.
To apply in Middle Income Group 1 i.e. MIG 1, annual income should be between 6-12 lakhs and to apply in Middle Income Group 2 i.e. MIG 2, annual income should be between 12-18 lakhs.

Who is eligible?

If you do not have a residential unit, you can avail benefits under PM Awas Yojana
People who are BPL card holders or have low income are also considered eligible for this scheme.
If you are going to apply then know that you must be 18 years of age or older
It is also mandatory for the applicant to be a citizen of India

These documents are necessary:-

Aadhar card
voter id card
PAN card
ration magazine
passport size photograph
income certificate
caste certificate
registered mobile number
age certificate
Bank account number
Bank passbook etc.
