After some time Mahendra Rana came to know about the truth, he drowned in remorse. He rushed to Lodrawa but was too late by then. The fire of Mumal’s pyre was burning. It is said that Rana threw himself in the same fire without any hesitation and the souls of both of them became one forever.
Mumal is still alive today
