Utility News Desk !!! Various schemes are run by the central and state governments for the poor and backward classes of the country, housing schemes are also included in these schemes. Under which people are given financial assistance to build houses and are given pucca houses. Now in Jharkhand too, preparations are on to provide pucca houses to 20 lakh poor families. Here the state government has started the ‘Abua Awas’ scheme, under which the government will provide three-room houses to 20 lakh poor people of the state by 2027.
State launched scheme
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced this scheme. These houses will also have separate kitchens and toilets. The CM said, “We demanded houses for eight lakh poor people from the central government, but they refused to give money for it, after which we have started the Abua Awas Yojana with our own funds.”
Beneficiaries received acknowledgement letters
The beneficiaries of this scheme have been provided with the approval letter, on this occasion CM Hemant Soren said, “Today I have got the privilege of issuing approval letters for housing to the beneficiaries on the land of Aba Birsa Munda. We will fulfill the promise made to the poor of the state. Targeting the central government on rising inflation, the CM said that first rice disappeared, then pulses disappeared, now even the plate is missing. These people say that now very few poor people are left.
I don’t know who is saying that the poor have left the country. They can see the minerals of Jharkhand from Delhi but not the poverty here. To avail the benefits of this scheme, the beneficiary should be a resident of Jharkhand. The benefits of this scheme will be available only to those people who do not have a permanent house of their own. Apart from this, the beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana have also not been included under this scheme.
