What is PM Mudra Yojana?
The Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana was launched on 8 April 2015. Its purpose is to promote self -employment in the country and provide loans to small traders without any guarantee. Earlier, a loan of up to Rs 10 lakh was given under this scheme, but now it has been increased to Rs 20 lakh.
Loan is available on the basis of category
Four types of categories have been made under the Mudra scheme:

Adolescent category: 50,000 to 5 lakh rupees
Tarun category: 5 lakh to 10 lakh rupees
Tarun Plus category: 10 lakh to 20 lakh rupees
In these categories, the amount of loan depends on the need and business status of that person.
