To cast your vote in Delhi Assembly elections, you must have a Voter ID card. It is often seen that people are confused about when they can get their voter card made in case of elections. According to the Election Commission, after the announcement of elections, application for Voter ID card can be made up to 10 days before the nomination process. That means you still have a chance to get a Voter ID card. According to the Commission, the voter card reaches your home within 1 month of the application. After this you will be able to cast your vote in Delhi Assembly elections.

If you are 18 years old then you can also apply online for Voter Card. For this you will have to go to the official website of the Election Commission https://voters.eci.gov.in/. Here you will get Form 6, which you can fill offline or online. In Form 6, select your state, district, assembly and fill your personal information. Upload and submit self attested Aadhar Card photo for identity and address. After the application is submitted, it will be verified by the Commission, after which your Voter ID card will be created.
