Actually, under the new rules, there will be no need to link any PF account after 1 April 2024. Whenever a person joins another job, his old PF account will be linked automatically with the new, or say that the same account will continue. Overall, the hassle of linking PF accounts is over.

Also, you will not be able to see your entire PF balance in one place and there may be a problem in withdrawal. Let us now tell you how you can merge the old accounts together. For this, you have to go to the official website of EPFO. After this, click on the option of One Employee One PF account. A form will open here, in which you have to enter the UAN number and mobile number. Then on entering OTP, the old PF account will be revealed, then enter the PF account number and accept the declaration. A few days after submitting your account will be merged.
