Apart from the central government, the state governments of the country also run several schemes for women empowerment. Recently, the Jharkhand government has launched a new scheme for women. The name of the scheme is Mukhyamantri Maniyan Samman Yojana. In this scheme, women are given 12 thousand rupees annually. Which women are given the benefit of this scheme? Through the Chief Minister Maniyan Samman Yojana of the Jharkhand government, 12 thousand rupees are given to the women of the state annually. They are given financial assistance of Rs 1000 every month. The government provides benefits to women from Antyodaya category families under this scheme. To apply in the scheme, the age of the woman should be between 21 years and 50 years. The Department of Women Child Development and Social Security conducts this scheme. So far more than 37 lakh applications have been submitted under the scheme.
Women are required to have some documents to apply for the Chief Minister Maniyan Samman Yojana. For application, women should have passport size photos, bank passbook photocopy, photocopy of Aadhaar card and photocopy of ration cards. Women whose names are not recorded in any ration card. Those women can use their husband or father’s ration card.
The first installment of the Chief Minister Maniyan Samman Yojana of the Jharkhand government will be released on 21 August. State Chief Minister Hemant Soren will release the first installment amount. Along with this, according to the information, the state government will send the installment of the scheme to the account of the scheme on the 15th of every month under DBT i.e. Direct Benefit Transfer.
Women have to visit their nearest Anganwadi center to apply for the Chief Minister Maniyan Samman Yojana. From there they have to get the application for this scheme. After filling all the information in the application form, it will have to be attached with the relevant documents and submit it to the Anganwadi center.
