World Heritage Day
Every year ‘World Heritage Day’ is celebrated on 18 April around the world. Let me tell you, ‘World Heritage Day’ is celebrated by UNESCO on 18 April every year to preserve the cultural-historical sites of the world as heritage. Its main objective is to create awareness about ancient heritage and sites among people. In 1983, UNESCO also recognized it. The list of UNESCO World Heritage Site also includes many historical monuments of India. There are three famous places in Delhi itself which have been included in the list of World Heritage. Let us know which places are those places?
These famous places of Delhi included in the World Heritage:
Red Fort: The Red Fort is spread over an area of 250 acres which is famous for its vast walls. The fort was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Its construction was completed in ten years between 1638 and 1648. It shows the cultural, architecture and politics of modern India with diverse colors.
Qutub Minar: Qutub Minar is a tall brick tower. Standing as a symbol of the Mughal dynasty, this tower is of 5 thin floors. On the walls, you have Paraso-Arabi and Nagari letters 1381 to 1517 AD of Alexander Lodi. Records of ages will be found.
Humayun’s Tomb: Humayun’s tomb is a great example made of red sandstone, white marble. The mausoleum has 2 entrances through the two -floor entrances, which have rooms on a courtyard and upper floors.
