TTE

TTE stands for Travel Ticket Examiner. These people check the tickets of the passengers traveling in the train. In such a situation, TTE collects fine from them. Apart from this, TTE also has the right to decide that any passenger whose reservation is confirmed should not come. In such a situation, TTE allots its seats to the passengers traveling on RAC or waiting list tickets.

TC

TC stands for Ticket Collector. TCs are appointed on the platforms of railway stations. The job of TC is to check the tickets of passengers walking on the platform. TC also checks tickets at the entry or exit gates of the stations.
