Gaza, Sep 15 (IANS) At least 21 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli air strikes in the Gaza Strip. Palestinian security sources told news agency Xinhua on Saturday that an Israeli warplane attacked a residential house in the al-Tuffah area, east of Gaza city with a missile.
Palestinian medical sources said that 10 Palestinians, including three children and a woman, were killed in the attack. The Palestinian Civil Defense said in a press statement that at least five Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike near a school northwest of Gaza City, reports Xinhua news agency.
Six other people were killed in Israeli shelling on a tent for displaced people in the al-Mawasi area, west of the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, according to local sources and eyewitnesses. However, the Israeli military has not yet commented on these incidents.
Let us tell you that Hamas launched a sudden attack through the southern Israeli border on 7 October 2023 in which more than 1200 people were killed and about 250 civilians were taken hostage. After this, Israel launched large-scale attacks against Hamas in the Gaza Strip which are still continuing.
The number of Palestinians killed in ongoing Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip has risen to 41,182, Gaza-based health officials said in a statement on Saturday.
