30.77 lakh crore investment proposal received in 'Global Investors Summit': Mohan Yadav

Bhopal, 25 February (IANS). The two-day ‘Global Investors Summit-2025’ ended on Tuesday in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. After the successful organization of ‘Global Investors Summit-2025’, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav gave important information in the course of conversation with reporters.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that it is a matter of pride and joy for Madhya Pradesh that Madhya Pradesh has received an investment proposal of Rs 30.77 lakh crore from the successful events of the Regional Industry Conclave, Interactive Sessions and ‘Global Investors Summit’, from which 21.40 Lakhs of employment opportunities will be created.

He said that I thank all investors on behalf of the Madhya Pradesh government that they have expressed confidence in the infinite possibilities of Madhya Pradesh, investment -friendly environment and progressive policies of the government. The Madhya Pradesh government is committed to cooperation at every step.

He further said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our government is constantly trying for the betterment of the lives of poor, youth, food donors and women. Certainly, this summit will strengthen the efforts of Madhya Pradesh in fulfilling the resolve of developed India by giving new pace to the economic progress of the state.

Earlier, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that more than 25,000 participants including more than 100 experts and industrialists participated in the Global Investors Summit. In this, investors from more than 60 countries delegate came to Bhopal. Around 5,000 business-to-business and 600 business-to-government meetings were held at GIS.

He said that till now the government has received investment proposals of more than 30 lakh 77 thousand crore rupees. Various MoUs were signed. The state government is committed to putting its efforts on the ground.

The Chief Minister gave information about the innovations made in Madhya Pradesh for the implementation of criminal laws implemented last year. He said that in one year we will fully implement all new criminal law reforms and make Madhya Pradesh as the best law and order state in the country. In order to improve law and order in the state, we are making a commitment to do better work under the leadership and guidance of Home Minister Amit Shah.

Chief Secretary Anurag Jain said on the two -day GIS that 25 deligants from 50 countries came to Bhopal in GIS. 10 Union Ministers and 6 Union Secretaries also participated. Prime Minister Modi launched the summit and encouraged us all. He also inaugurated 18 new policies of Madhya Pradesh government. He called upon the investors to study these policies of the Madhya Pradesh government thoroughly and take full advantage of the facilities of the government. Prime Minister Modi has asked to focus on textile, tourism and technology sectors. Investment commitment of 78,000 crore has been received in the technology sector.

He said that there is a lot of tourism potential in Madhya Pradesh. Investments of 65,000 crores have been received in the tourism sector. In the textile sector, Madhya Pradesh has received a textile project in Dhar from the Center. Prime Minister Modi has said that the intervention of the government in the society should be reduced. The main goal of these policies of Madhya Pradesh government is about Ease of Doing Business. A great job has been done in the tourism sector. Earlier there were 30 permissions to work in this sector, now they have been reduced to 10. We will notify all these policies in the Public Service Guarantee Act.
