More than 4.5 lakh people are affected in Andhra Pradesh. Here 20 teams of NDRF and 19 teams of SDRF are engaged in rescue work. So far more than 31 thousand people have been evacuated to safe places. At the same time, so far 16 people have died in Telangana and 15 in Andhra Pradesh due to rain. Railways have canceled 432 trains.

Andhra Pradesh is the most affected by the floods. These include Vijayawada, NTR, Krishna, Eluru, Bapatla, Guntur and Prakasam. The most devastation occurred in Vijayawada city. More than 17 areas of the city are completely submerged in water. An official of South Central Railway based in Secunderabad said that so far 432 trains have been cancelled due to waterlogging. At the same time, the route of 139 trains has been changed.
Telangana has demanded Rs 2 thousand crore from the Center
More than 1.5 lakh acres of crops have been destroyed due to rain in Telangana. The state government has estimated a loss of about Rs 5 thousand crore. The Revanth Reddy government of the state has sought help of Rs 2000 crore from the Center. The CM of Telangana has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of those killed in the floods. He has demanded PM Modi to visit the flood-affected areas and declare the floods a national disaster. Let us tell you that Telangana is facing such a disaster after about 3 decades.
There will be heavy rain in these districts
According to the Meteorological Department, Telangana is not going to get any relief from this deadly rain. According to the information, there is a possibility of rain in 11 districts including Kamareddy, Komaram Bheem, Asifabad, Medak, Malkajgiri, Nizamabad, Sangareddy in the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has asked Congress leaders and workers to provide all possible help in relief and rescue operations. Along with this, he has also demanded a rehabilitation package from the Center.
