Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for providing guidance for the Mahakumbh Mela and also praised collective efforts for its implementation. He said that “any result can be achieved with a little political will and correct support.”
He said in a post on X, “Respected Prime Minister, the result of your successful guidance is that the Mahayagya of unity, equality, harmony ‘Mahakumbh-2025, Prayagraj, grandeur and divinity as well as new standards of security, cleanliness and good governance has been concluded.”
Highlighting the importance of this event, he said, “Over the last 45 holy days, more than 66 crore devotees, including revered saints and saints, have earned a virtue by taking a dip in the holy Triveni.”
Adityanath praised the importance of this event and said that this festival of humanity is tying the whole world in the thread of unity with the spirit of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’.
He also acknowledged Prime Minister Modi’s continuous cooperation and said, “Your guidance and best wishes always provide new energy to all of us, Prime Minister, thank you heartily!”
Earlier, in a blog post, Modi praised Adityanath’s leadership, saying, “As an MP from Uttar Pradesh, I can proudly say that the government, administration and people led by Adityanath collectively made this’ Mahakumbh of ‘Ekta’.
Later, Adityanath worshiped the Ganges in Prayagraj for the successful completion of Mahakumbh 2025.
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak and Minister Swatantradev Singh, Minister Nand Gopal Gupta were also present. Addressing a program organized to distribute certificates to sanitation workers and health workers in Prayagraj, he accepted the important role played by various departments in the success of Kumbh.
He said, “According to the wishes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, I heartily greet and welcome all the people associated with this entire campaign to maintain this divine and grand Kumbh a global event along with the employees of the Department of cleaning workers, health workers, transport department as well as security and water.”
The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of teamwork in achieving successful results. He said that when a work is done with a team spirit, its results are good, as we have seen in Prayagraj Mahakumbh.
He also expressed gratitude to the Prayagraj Mela Authority, administrative officials and police personnel, saying, “Prayagraj Mela Authority, administrative officials and police officials have proved that any result can be achieved if there is a little political will and correct cooperation and the result has come before us today.”
Appreciating the residents of Prayagraj, he said, “I also want to congratulate the people of Prayagraj, who accepted this entire event in the last two months without any hesitation.”
He also praised the residents of Uttar Pradesh for their warm hospitality. Let us know that Mahakumbh, which started on 13 January in Prayagraj, concluded on 26 February.
