Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said that with the aim of giving relief to Delhiites, the MCD government of “AAP” has taken an important decision. Along with this, the house tax of houses of 100 to 500 yards will be reduced to half in the financial year 2025-26. House tax of small houses from 100 yards will also be waived. House tax will also be waived in the houses where shops are running.

In addition, the house tax of 1300 housing apartments in Delhi will also be waived up to 25 percent. Durgesh Pathak said that the Aam Aadmi Party’s MCD government has always been working for the public. He said that earlier the employees of MCD did not get timely salary, but now the employees have started getting salary on the first date of every month. Apart from this, in the financial year 2025-26, the house tax of houses of 100 to 500 yards will be reduced to half, while the house tax of houses smaller than 100 yards will be completely waived.

During this, Mayor Mahesh Dhani said that the Aam Aadmi Party is fulfilling the promises made in its government. More than 8,000 MCD employees have been permanent in the last two years and now 12,000 more employees will be permanent. He said that house tax is being forgiven and forgiven in various categories to give relief to Delhiites.
