Delhi News: Aam Aadmi Party leader and MLA Naresh Balyan has been arrested by the Crime Branch of Delhi Police on Saturday. This action has been taken in a year old alleged extortion case. The crime branch first detained him and then arrested him.

Police said that he was not cooperating during interrogation, hence he has been arrested. Balyan can be produced in the court tomorrow. In the audio clip, there was allegedly a discussion about collecting ransom money.
Hours before the Aam Aadmi Party leader was taken into custody, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia had released a purported audio clip in which Balyan is heard allegedly talking to a gangster about extortion from a businessman. Are. Gaurav Bhatia accused AAP of becoming a party of extortionists and gangsters. He claimed that the audio recording showed that Balyan was involved in threats and intimidation to extort money from a builder.
He claimed that such activities happen with the tacit consent of AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal. He said that this incident reflects the functioning of the Aam Aadmi Party and its leadership. Bhatia claimed that in the clip, Balyan addressed the gangster as brother and threatened and intimidated a builder.
At the same time, senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has rejected BJP’s allegations. He claimed that the audio clip is ‘fake’. He said that Arvind Kejriwal is raising voice against the deteriorating law and order and increasing crime in Delhi. Instead of stopping these crimes, BJP and Amit Shah are trying to stop Kejriwal. They are now playing a fake audio clip to stop our leader.
