Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde claimed that the current MLA of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was in touch with Shiv Sena for the Delhi Assembly elections, but he was not fielded to avoid the division of votes because the party (Shiv Sena) has given BJP to BJP Has announced support.
Shinde said that he will soon go to the national capital to raise support for the candidates of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Shinde told reporters, “The current MLAs of the Aam Aadmi Party contacted us but we are in an alliance with the BJP. Both of us parties (BJP and Shiv Sena) have the same thinking. Therefore, we did not field candidates to avoid the sharing of votes as it could benefit the opponents. We have fully supported BJP in Delhi. ”
Shinde said that Shiv Sena has three MLAs in Rajasthan and the party intends to increase its base in other states.
