A resident of Bihar has filed a case in a local court, alleging that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi caused a bucket of milk to spill on him, causing a loss of Rs 250.
The bizarre incident took place in Samastipur district, where complainant Mukesh Choudhary claimed he was shocked to hear Gandhi’s “fight against the Indian state” comment last week.
Choudhary alleged, “I was in such shock that my bucket filled with five liters of milk, priced at Rs 50 per litre, slipped from my hand. Rahul Gandhi was endangering the sovereignty of the country.”
The resident of Sonupur village also showed the media a copy of his petition filed in the civil court of Rosra sub-division, demanding that Gandhi be prosecuted under various sections of the BNS, including 152.
It is not known whether the court has accepted the petition or not.
