Before the election results, a survey was conducted in Maharashtra on November 20, which made it quite clear that it may be difficult for Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) to win Maharashtra. According to this survey, due to Ladli Bahin Yojana, the victory margin of Mahayuti has become huge.
Survey was conducted on 103 seats
Four weeks before the Maharashtra elections, a survey was conducted on 103 seats. It was also clear that MVA was going to lose this game. According to the Indian Express survey, MVA is leading on 44 seats, while Mahayuti is likely to win on 54 seats. This survey revealed that MVA is getting support only from the Muslim community. Marathas, Dalits, backward classes and minorities are with Mahayuti.
Benefits of Ladli Bahin Yojana
Ladli Bahin Yojana is also a big reason behind the victory of Mahayuti in Maharashtra elections 2024. 88 percent of the people present in the survey were aware of this scheme. Someone in the family of 82 percent people is getting the benefit of this scheme. In such a situation, MVA tried hard to repeat the performance like the Lok Sabha elections, but could not succeed.
How was the performance in the Lok Sabha elections?
Mahayuti’s popularity was evident even before the Maharashtra election results. Despite this, after the results the opposition started blaming EVMs. Let us tell you that MVA had won 30 out of 48 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Of these, 13 seats were won by Congress, 9 seats by Shiv Sena (UBT) and 8 seats by NCP (Sharad Pawar).
