New Delhi, September 15 (IANS). Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, while addressing the workers at the Aam Aadmi Party headquarters on Sunday, announced that I will resign from the post of CM after two days. Reacting to this, Aam Aadmi Party leader Jasmine Shah condemned the Bharatiya Janata Party.
While talking to IANS, he said, “Arvind Kejriwal has given a big and new definition of honesty and morality in Indian politics. Arvind Kejriwal was the Commissioner of Income Tax. If he wanted, he could have earned crores of rupees every year. He kicked this job in the year 2000 and worked in slums for 10 years. After that, the party was formed and India Against Corruption Movement happened. He became the most revolutionary Chief Minister of the country. He did such works, which no one has done till now. Free electricity, water, excellent government schools, education, health, hospitals, he did all these works. Despite this, the BJP people conspired against him. They released agencies like ED, CBI against him. They did not have any case against Kejriwal, but they wanted to tarnish Kejriwal’s image.”
He said that BJP leaders had called Kejriwal corrupt. They called a person corrupt who had dedicated his entire life to the country for struggle and sacrifice. The Supreme Court has granted him bail. Despite this, he is so pained by this that he has decided to resign and go to the people’s court. He will now go to the people’s court and will accept whatever decision the people take.
Attacking the BJP leaders, he said that now the BJP people have become confused. Till now they thought that these people will keep calling AAP leaders corrupt and thieves and people will listen to them. Kejriwal himself is saying that I am ready for my Agni Pariksha. Now you conduct elections and let the public decide who is right and who is wrong. In this case, nothing will happen by what the BJP says. The BJP has been saying this for two years. They have not found anything from us. The Supreme Court reprimanded the CBI and said that it is acting like a parrot. According to me, the BJP leaders have nothing left to say now. The next Chief Minister will be decided in the Legislative Party meeting within two to three days.
