UP Politics: Former UP Chief Minister and SP President Akhilesh Yadav has launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party. He said that Uttar Pradesh has become the number one state in the BJP rule in cases of atrocities on Dalits. He raised the question as to why the most attacks on Dalits and crime are seen only in BJP ruled states – Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha and Maharashtra, especially cases of oppression of Dalit women.
SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said that injustice and oppression to Dalits is at its peak during the BJP government. He alleged that the BJP is not only doing the work of reservation and freedom of Dalits, but now power protected domineering has come down on taking their lives. He recently mentioned an incident in Prayagraj, where a Dalit youth was killed for refusing to cut wheat.
BJP’s thinking feudalist: Akhilesh
SP President and former state CM Akhilesh Yadav said that BJP is basically a party of traditional dominated. Describing the thinking of BJP leaders as feudalist, he said that poor, deprived, Dalits, backward, minorities, women and tribals are only facing insults and districts under BJP rule. Akhilesh said that BJP leaders are suffering from anti -constitutional mindset. In the BJP, there are always some special people in the top positions of the organization and the government, while the rest are limited to banners, flag, carpets and promotional works only.
Dalits get a designation, but no real power
Akhilesh Yadav also alleged that Dalits and backward may get positions for the name in BJP, but they are never given real power or rights. They are used as faces only to win elections. Akhilesh Yadav appealed to the Dalit society to recognize the harassment and insult of the BJP and stand against it.
