Akhilesh Yadav: Samajwadi Party national president and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday paid homage to the statue at Hazratganj intersection of the capital Lucknow on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. On this occasion, the SP chief said that on this day when he is being remembered on the birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. Then we pledge that we will work for the establishment of social justice.
Negative forces will have to answer through PDA
He said that the Constitution is the protector and lifeline of our rights. The constitution can only protect the weak and lower class of the society. Baba Saheb faced discrimination and insult. Now negative forces will have to answer through PDA.
SP President Akhilesh Yadav targeted the BJP on the occasion and said that he has been an old conspiracy to shoot. Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi was also shot. These are the people who like violence. BJP people do not consider Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. He does not even consider the constitution and democracy.
He said that even today there is a hatred about Ambedkar in some parts of society. His statues were broken in many places in the state. Which indicate that some political parties are not acceptable and trying to weaken the Constitution in a thoughtful manner.
The SP chief said that even today Dalits have to be humiliated to drink water. Even today, the Dalit class has to face the brunt of discrimination and insult. Giving the example of Agra, Akhilesh Yadav said that the people of BJP talk about peaceful performance. But where the swords are waved publicly. There these people talk about law.
He said that even today, powerful people persecute the people of the weaker sections. He said that the Constitution of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar has given rights and respect to the PDA. We pledge that the PDA will always struggle to save the Constitution.
