UP Politics: Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav made a big political announcement during a press conference in Prayagraj. He made it clear that the alliance of SP and Congress will continue in the 2027 assembly elections. Akhilesh said that this alliance will take place with full force to exclude the Bharatiya Janata Party from power.
Akhilesh claimed that in the upcoming assembly elections, ‘PDA’ i.e. backward, Dalit and minority classes together will uproot the BJP. He said that this alliance is not just electoral mathematics, but a fight for social justice.
Akhilesh Yadav lashed out at BJP
Akhilesh Yadav made a scathing attack on the BJP, saying that the central and state governments have ruined the economic condition of common people through decisions like demonetisation and GST. He also alleged that the BJP has conspired to weaken the right to reservation.
“Conspiracy to grab land” told Waqf Amendment Act
Akhilesh questioned the BJP’s intention regarding the Waqf Amendment Act. He said, “BJP has brought this law only so that the lands of Waqf can be grabbed. Wherever the land is seen, these people reach to capture.” The SP chief called the BJP a “land mafia party”.
Questions raised on Mahakumbh event
Akhilesh also made serious allegations about the Mahakumbh event of the Yogi government. He said that if his party comes to power, then the alleged mismanagement in Mahakumbh will be investigated. At the same time, the data presented by the government regarding the number of casualties and expenses was also wrong.
“Do not tease history”-Advice on Aurangzeb-Rana Sanga controversy
On the ongoing controversy over Rana Sanga and Aurangzeb, Akhilesh said that history should be allowed to remain history. He said that such topics only work to spread hatred in society and distract attention from development. “History that we should not be discussed between us,” he said clearly.
