The politics of Uttar Pradesh has once again been hot. The intense statements on social media between Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav and state Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak have now reached a new turn. On Monday, Akhilesh Yadav posted a long and sharp post on the social media platform ‘X’ (East Twitter) and accused the BJP government of social injustice and gave several political indications to Brajesh Pathak indirectly surrounded Brajesh Pathak.
“Do not spend time just in sycophancy”
Akhilesh Yadav wrote in his post, “The people sitting empty take the matter forward, the working people go ahead.” With this sentence, he accused BJP leaders of indulging in rhetoric instead of work. He said that the Samajwadi Party will form a government of social justice by taking a pledge of positive politics with the PDA (Backward, Dalit, Minority). He taunted the BJP leaders and wrote, “Those who are not asked in their parties, wear their ministry of failure, urge them to play some meaningful role.”
“If you cannot speak, then say something in gestures”
Akhilesh Yadav, especially in his post, targeted BJP leaders who represent the society but remain silent. He said, “If your society considers you even one percent, then do not courage to speak, at least say something in gestures.”
“Do not try to dissolve as BJP.”
The most spicy part of the post was that in which he indirectly attacked Brajesh Pathak. He said, “You are not basically not even his (BJP). Come from outside is trying to get mixed up by speaking like BJP. Do not let your political exploitation happen.”
Akhilesh further said that the leaders who once considered themselves important in the BJP, are marginalized today and the same situation can be those who are blindly supporting the party.
“If we are in crisis, we will stand together”
The SP chief also said that if there is a crisis someday, the Samajwadi Party will be standing together. He claimed that neither Brajesh Pathak nor his society is in the priority of today’s BJP government. “Your society was not in his eyes, there was no Tiem and neither,” he wrote.
“This is the last letter of this series”
Akhilesh Yadav wrote at the end of his long post that this is the final comment on this subject because now he has to “go to work for public interest.”
Analysis:
This post of Akhilesh Yadav is not only a political statement, but also a strategy to target the contradictions arising within the BJP. He has tried to bring out the internal politics of the BJP by raising leaders like Brajesh Pathak being marginalized in the party.
