UP Politics: National President of Samajwadi Party and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has issued a statement targeting BJP. He has expressed opposition to privatization of the electricity system. Akhilesh said that first the BJP will privatize electricity, then they will increase the electricity rate, after that they will lay off the employees, then they will hire people on contract and the BJP will take commission from the contractors. Then they will exploit the public by increasing the electricity bill. They will take a share of the increased bill from the power companies through the back door, then the BJP will use this corrupt income to form the government, and will repeat the same vicious cycle of emptying the pockets of the public by forming the government in some other form.

Akhilesh Yadav said that after electricity, who knows, water privatization may also come. He said that BJP people do not fear the anger and resentment of the employees and the general public because they win elections not by votes but by mistakes. Where the public is alert and the administration is honest, the BJP people lose.
Not one unit of electricity was produced
Akhilesh Yadav said that the BJP did not produce even a single unit of electricity. Neither generation has been increased, nor transmission has been strengthened, nor distribution has been improved for cheap and continuously accessible electricity. Instead, the BJP has considered the basic need of the people like electricity as a machine for ‘generation’ of money, ‘transmission’ of money from here to there and ‘distribution’ of money by sharing it among themselves. He further said that BJP works on the policy of lies and loot. It creates new strategies to loot the government budget and pick pockets of the public. The aim of BJP is not public welfare and public welfare. She exploits the public for her own benefit. Employees and people are troubled by the exploitative policy of BJP.
