Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said on Monday that the Center should have called an all -party meeting before agreeing to stop all military action with Pakistan and convened the Parliament session.
Siddaramaiah said that the entire credit for the campaign against terrorists and their masters should go to the armed forces and no one should take political credit for this.
Siddaramaiah said in response to a question, “The ceasefire was announced and the two countries have reached the consent on it. The Director General of Military Campaign (DGMO) of the two countries is going to talk, let’s see what decisions are made there. ‘
Talking to reporters, he said, “In my opinion, he (the central government) should have called an all -party meeting before the ceasefire. At the same time, Parliament should have also called on, because this is a very serious matter. ”
When many people have given examples to the aim of comparing the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi between her leadership and the present India-Pakistan status during the 1971 Bangladesh Muktisangram, he said, “Many years since 1971 have passed, almost 54 years have passed, I don’t want to talk about it anymore. The ceasefire has been announced, DGMOs are talking, let’s see what happens. ”
Asked whether all Pakistani citizens in the state have left the country, Siddaramaiah said that Mysuru has only three children and all the others have gone. He said that the three children are under six years of age, their mother is Indian and father Pakistani.
He said, “The three children went to the border and when no one came to pick them up, they returned. Now he is with his mother. ”
