All the cities of Uttar Pradesh will be converted into solar cities: AK Sharma

Gandhinagar, September 16 (IANS) Describing Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a Yug Purush, Uttar Pradesh’s Power Minister AK Sharma said, “He is promoting new and renewable energy. I congratulate him a lot. In view of the challenge of global warming, the Prime Minister has worked to take India on that path in accordance with Indian culture. He has paid attention to the changes in lifestyle.”

Sharma said, he has taken India on the path of progress through solar energy and other energy. Following the path shown by him, we are working to promote renewable energy in Uttar Pradesh. Be it solar energy or biomass energy, everything is being promoted.

We are working on a solar city in Ayodhya. This will meet 10 percent of Ayodhya’s electricity demand. A 40 MW solar plant has been installed. Sharma said, we will also transform other cities of Uttar Pradesh into solar cities.

AK Sharma wrote in a post on Instagram, Today I met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the exhibition organized on the occasion of RE-INVEST 2024 by the Government of India in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

He enquired about the development work being done in the field of renewable energy in Uttar Pradesh. He devoted sufficient time to enquire about the program of building solar cities in Uttar Pradesh including Ayodhya and PM Surya Ghar Yojana including Varanasi and the work being done in the field of renewable energy and praised its socio-economic-environmental benefits.

Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Re-Invest 2024 program in Gandhinagar on Monday. Chief Ministers and Power Ministers of many states attended this program.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said during the program, you all know that the people of India have given a third term to a government after 60 years. India has great hopes behind the third term given to our government.

Today 140 crore Indians are confident, the youth of India are confident, the women of India are confident that the wings that their hopes have grown in the last 10 years will take a new flight in this third term. The poor, the downtrodden, the oppressed and the deprived of the country are confident that our third term will be a guarantee for them to live a dignified life.
