Two terrorist colleagues were arrested in a joint operation by 34 RR SOG Shopian, CRPF 178 Battalion of the Indian Army in DK Pora area of Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir (Jammu Kashmir News). Two pistols, four grenades, 43 live cartridges and other objectionable materials were also recovered from the arrested terrorists. Shopian police said an FIR has been registered against the accused and further investigation is going on.
Officials said several electronic equipment have been seized during the raids and raids are still going on at some places. However, he said that no one was arrested during the campaign led by senior officials.
Three Lashkar colleagues arrested
Two days ago, security forces arrested three Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists in Budgam district. In this case, an FIR has been lodged in Magam Police Station under the related sections of the illegal activities (prevention) Act (UAPA) and further investigation has been started. Police said during the investigation, it was found that the arrested people were in close contact with active Lashkar terrorist Abid Qayyum Loan, the son of Vusan Pattan resident Abdul Qayyum Lone, who had fled to Pakistan in 2020 and later joined the Lashkar organization.
