Arvind Kejriwal News: Aam Aadmi Party chief and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday appeared in a very aggressive mood and targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi by asking five questions to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat. These questions appear to be aimed at reducing Modi’s stature and to suggest that the real power lies with the RSS, the parent organisation, which he should keep under control.
Kejriwal has asked this question in a rally that has the son grown so much that he has started showing arrogance towards his mother. Although these questions have been framed politically, dragging Bhagwat into this new matter is new and unusual. Kejriwal asked that the parent organization of BJP is the Sangh. And it is the responsibility of the Sangh to see that the BJP does not deviate from the path, so do you agree with the steps of the BJP. Have you ever tried to stop them? He took the reference of this from the fact that JP Nadda had said during the elections that the BJP does not need the Sangh. The question is has the son grown so much that he can show his eyes to the mother. When Nadda said this, are you not sad? Isn’t every worker of the Sangh sad?
Kejriwal sought to know whether the RSS supports the use of central agencies by the BJP to destabilise opposition parties and their governments, and whether it supports the party’s alleged recruitment of “corrupt” leaders. “Do you consider the way other parties are being broken by luring them or by showing the fear of ED or CBI, good for democracy or is it harmful,” he asked.
The former Chief Minister of Delhi also asked that the leaders who are initially called corrupt are later included in the BJP. Did you imagine such a BJP? Do you agree with the politics of the BJP?
In his first public appearance under the ‘Janta Ki Adalat’ initiative at Jantar Mantar after stepping down as Delhi chief minister, Kejriwal also questioned whether Bhagwat’s rules on retirement age should apply to Modi, as they did to Advani.
The RSS and BJP have set a rule that every leader should retire from active politics at the age of 75. Under this rule, leaders like LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and Kalraj Mishra retired. Now, (Home Minister) Amit Shah says this rule does not apply to Modiji. Bhagwat ji, do you agree that the rule that applied to Advani will not apply to Modi?
At the same time when Kejriwal addressed the rally, the BJP held a protest against the AAP over corruption allegations at Connaught Place, just a kilometre away from Jantar Mantar.
