Assembly Elections: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start the election campaign for Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana today i.e. on Saturday. PM Modi will first address a rally in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir at 11 am. This is going to be the first visit of a Prime Minister to Doda after 45 years. After Doda, PM Modi will reach Kurukshetra in Haryana at 2 pm where he will address a huge public meeting. Congress and other parties will be targeted in PM Modi’s rally.
Elections are going to be held after 10 years

45 years ago in 1979, Indira Gandhi held a rally in Doda. Doda in Jammu and Kashmir has been affected by terrorism for many decades. Tight security arrangements have been made for the Prime Minister’s rally. The rally venue will be monitored by drones. Soldiers have been deployed at every corner. The entire premises have been sealed in view of the rally. Security has also been tightened in the surrounding areas.
Chenab area will be affected
PM Modi’s rally in Doda will have a great impact on the Chenab region. Doda is famous as Chenab region. There are eight assembly seats in Chenab region – Doda, Doda West, Bhaderwah, Kishtwar, Indrawal, Pader-Nagseni, Ramban and Banihal. All these seats are very important for BJP’s Mission 50. BJP is contesting the assembly elections on all 43 seats of Jammu.
Voting will be held in three phases for 90 seats
There are a total of 90 assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir. Voting for these seats will be held in three phases. The first phase of voting will be held on September 18, while the second and third phases will be held on September 25 and October 1. The counting of votes will be held on October 8. The results will also be declared on the same day. The Election Commission had announced the dates for the Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana assembly elections on August 31. After this, this is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first visit to Jammu and Kashmir.
After that he will hold a public meeting in Kurukshetra, Haryana
After Doda, PM Modi will address a rally at 2 pm in the Theme Park of Kurukshetra, Haryana. In this rally, PM Modi will appeal to the public to vote for 23 candidates from 6 districts. Haryana BJP has put in all its strength to make this rally historic.
