Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid tribute to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his seventh death anniversary and said that he would continue to inspire everyone in the creation of developed and self -sufficient India.
Modi said on X, “I remember Atal ji on his death anniversary. His dedication and service to India’s all -round progress will continue to motivate everyone to build a developed and self -sufficient India.”
Modi and President Draupadi Murmu, Union Ministers and many other dignitaries including Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla later visited his memorial ‘Sada Atal’ here to pay tribute to this veteran leader of the BJP.
Poet and politician Vajpayee have been Prime Minister for more than six years between 1998 and 2004 and are credited with advancing economic reforms, paving the way for high growth rate.
