After senior Delhi government officials issued notices rejecting the registration process for two schemes of the ruling AAP in the national capital, the BJP took a dig at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal, saying that nowadays Delhi’s Chief Minister Atishi is not listening to him.
Leader Gaurav Vallabh claimed that there has been a split in the Aam Aadmi Party just before the Delhi Assembly elections. He said that many factions have emerged within the party under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal, Atishi, Sanjay Singh and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Gaurav Vallabh told ANI, “These days CM Atishi is not listening to Arvind Kejriwal. On one hand Kejriwal is announcing welfare schemes, but on the other hand Atishi is saying that there is no such welfare scheme. I think There is a split in the party. One group is with Chief Minister Atishi while the other group is with the Punjab CM. I think there is going to be a split in the Aam Aadmi Party before the Delhi elections.”
Stepping up his attack, the BJP leader alleged that the Arvind Kejriwal led government has committed corruption in the liquor issue and hence he should change the name of his party to ‘Daru Premi Party’.
Vallabh said, “I want to say one thing to Kejriwal ji and the Delhi government that in the last three general (Lok Sabha) elections, BJP has won all 7 seats. Kejriwal ji, even when you were in jail on liquor charges, BJP The elected representatives were working for the people of Delhi. You and your government have done only one thing, corruption in liquor. Therefore, you should change the name of your party to ‘Daru Premi Party’.”
The Women and Child Development (WCD) department of the Delhi government has issued a clarification regarding the ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana’ announced by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) ahead of the 2025 assembly elections. The department said no such scheme has been officially notified.
“It is clarified that no such scheme has been notified by the Delhi government,” the department said in a notice published in national newspapers on Wednesday.
“It is emphasized that since no such scheme is in existence, the question of accepting forms/applications for registration under this non-existent scheme does not arise,” the notice said. Or the political party is collecting forms/applications or information from the applicants in the name of this scheme, then he is committing fraud and has no right to do so.”
After the notice was published in several media outlets, the main opposition party in Delhi, BJP, criticized Kejriwal, accusing him of digital fraud.
