In connection with his comment on Aurangzeb, a zero FIR has been lodged against Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azmi at Thane’s Naupada police station and transferred to the Marine Drive Police Station in Mumbai.
According to the police, after this, an FIR has been registered under sections 299, 302, 356 (1) and 356 (2) of the India Justice Code in Marine Drive Police Station today.
Earlier today, the police registered a case under BNS Section 299, 302, 356 (1) and 356 (2) against Azmi at Wagle Estate Police Station after a complaint of Shiv Sena MP Naresh Mahskay.
Speaking to the media in the Marine Drive area, SP MLA Abu Azmi had said that Aurangzeb was a good administrator. On Monday, Mhaskay reached the Vagle Estate Police Station to file a complaint against the SP MP.
Talking to the media, MHSSCE said that Abu Azmi has “no right to live in India.”
“A case of treason should be filed against Abu Azmi. He has no right to live in India. Aurangzeb who destroyed thousands of Hindu temples, tortured women, tortured Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, he was brutally tortured by the country. We should go here today to register a case of treason against him. “
After an uproar over his comment, Abu Azmi defended his comment about Aurangzeb, saying that the Mughal emperor had destroyed mosques along with temples.
Refuting Aurangzeb’s claims of being ‘anti -Hindu’, Azmi said that 34 percent of the Hindus were Hindus and many of his advisors were Hindus. He further said that there is no need to give communal color to this issue.
Azmi told ANI, “If Aurangzeb had broken the temple, he had also broken mosques. If he had been against Hindus, 34 percent of Hindus would not be with him (in his administration) and his advisors would not have been Hindus. It is true that India was a golden bird during his rule. There is no need to give a Hindu-Muslim angle.”
The SP MLA further said that the struggle for power and property by the kings in the past was “not religious”. Azmi said that he had not made any comments against “Hindu brothers”.
