Congress MP Imran Masood attacked BJP and asked whether they will burn the entire country for their political gains? He said that such things will set the entire country on fire, what is happening? He said that the Prime Minister should look into this matter and the Supreme Court should also take cognizance. He further said that you (BJP) are not leaving religious places and properties. Where do you want to corner us? Under which mosque will we see a temple, is there any limit or not? He has accused the Central Government of setting aside the Worship Act 1991.

Demand for intervention from central government
At the same time, President of All India Sufi Sajjadanshin Parishad, Syed Naseeruddin Chishti said that such incidents are increasing in the country. Every other day we see that particular groups are claiming mosques and dargahs. This is not in the interest of our society and country. Today India is becoming a global power, for how long will we remain embroiled in the temple and mosque dispute? He called on the central government to intervene. Along with this, he urged to make laws and issue guidelines to stop claims on religious establishments. He has agreed with the statement given by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat in 2022, in which he had said that we will continue to find Shivalayas in mosques.
What is the matter?
The controversy started after Rashtriya Hindu Sena President Vishnu Gupta had filed a case at Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Dargah in Ajmer, Rajasthan, claiming it to be a Shiva temple. The court accepted the case on Wednesday and fixed December 20 as the next hearing date. The court has issued notice to the Dargah Committee, Ministry of Minority Affairs and Archaeological Survey Department to present their side in this matter.
