‘B-team of Nitish government…’, taking a dig at Jan Suraj Party, Tejashwi accused PK

'B-team of Nitish government...', taking a dig at Jan Suraj Party, Tejashwi accused PK

Taking a dig at the Jan Suraj Party, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav accused the party, formed by former political strategist Prashant Kishore, of working as the ‘B team’ of the Nitish Kumar-led ruling coalition in Bihar.

In a video message late on Sunday night, hours after police used water cannons to disperse students demanding the cancellation of the recent BPSC exams, the former deputy chief minister made a clear statement against the IPAC founder and his party. Making reference that the protesters were “misled” to march towards Gandhi Maidan.

Yadav, who is now the leader of the opposition, alleged, “This movement was started by students. The strike that lasted for almost two weeks at Gardani Bagh, where I visited recently, had shaken the government. Over time, certain elements came to the fore acting as the B team of the government.”

He said, “The protesters were misled to march towards Gandhi Maidan despite warnings from the administration not to do so. And, when the time came to face lathicharge and water cannons, the protesters were misled into leading the protest.” Those offered preferred to run away.”

It is noteworthy that Kishor was not at the spot when the police used force, but he had addressed the protesters along with his supporters on Sunday. After this, FIR has been registered against Kishore and Jan Suraj Party President Manoj Bharti and many other people.

Patna District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh said that the protesters along with Prashant Kishore at Gandhi Maidan on Sunday tried to march towards the Chief Minister’s residence in the evening, after which the police had to take action.

Yadav promised that his party would use its influence to “politically” support the protesters’ demand for cancellation of the combined competitive examinations held on December 13, when five lakh candidates had appeared at over 900 centers across the state. .

Yadav said, “But you should not be influenced by empty promises. You should stick to your words. There are still a few days left for January 4. There is still plenty of time for the government to kneel down. It is absurd to say that the BPSC will support the government.” It is headed by a person appointed by the Chief Minister, who incidentally also holds the Home Department, which is the department that controls the police.”

It is noteworthy that BPSC has decided to conduct re-examination for more than 10,000 candidates who were given the examination center at Bapu Examination Complex in the city, where hundreds of candidates boycotted the examination alleging that the question paper was “leaked”. Was.

The BPSC rejected the allegation and claimed that the examination was disrupted as part of a “conspiracy” to cancel the examination.
