Lucknow News : The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has appointed Babita Chauhan as the chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh State Women’s Commission. Meanwhile, SP chief and former Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav’s daughter-in-law Aparna Yadav and Charu Chaudhary have been nominated as vice-presidents. Along with this, a complete executive committee has been formed, which has 25 members.
The Uttar Pradesh government has formed the State Women Commission. Social worker Babita Chauhan has been made the president and Mulayam Singh Yadav’s daughter-in-law Aparna Yadav has been made the vice-president. Along with this, Charu Chaudhary of Gorakhpur has also been given the responsibility of vice-president. Apart from this, 25 members have been made, in which supporting parties have also got a place.

Babita Chauhan is a big name in the field of social service, she is currently a district panchayat member of Agra. Along with this, she is the vice-president of BJP Mahila Morcha. Before this, she has also been the president of Mahila Morcha Brij region. She belongs to the Jat community, her husband is Jitendra Chauhan, who belongs to the Thakur community. In the assembly elections 2017, Babita Chauhan had sought a ticket from Etmadpur assembly, but she could not get it. BJP had given the ticket to Ram Pratap Singh Chauhan from here.
