Hisar, August 29 (IANS). With the aim of reviving the functioning of Hisar Municipal Corporation and bringing discipline among the employees, the newly appointed Commissioner Dr. Vaishali Sharma has taken an important step. She has issued a strict order for junior officers and employees.
Dr. Vaishali Sharma has banned officers and employees from wearing jeans and slippers during duty. She has clearly said that the employees and officials of the Municipal Corporation will have to come in formal dress during duty, so that discipline and dignity is maintained in the office. Orders have been sent to all officers and employees.
After the issuance of this order, resentment is being seen among the employees. However, no one is ready to speak openly. Not only this, MLA from Hisar and Health Minister Dr. Kamal Gupta also refused to say anything on this issue.
Dr. Vaishali Sharma said that when she entered the Municipal Corporation office, she saw that some employees had come to the office in slippers and jeans. She said that she did not like seeing this and hence she had to issue this order.
Dr. Sharma says that whenever we come to the office, we should come in good shape, we should have proper shoes, pants and shirt. He said that if we come to the office like the rest of the people, then what difference will remain between the people and the employees.
She further said that she will soon work to solve the problems of the city and will run a campaign to make the city animal free. She also held a meeting regarding the cleanliness system and will work to improve the cleanliness system in the coming time.
Apart from this, she said that she has just taken charge and will soon work to solve the problems of the city. She talked about starting a cow-catching campaign, which will make the city animal-free and orders for animal catching will also be issued. Let us tell you that Dr. Vaishali Sharma has taken charge as Municipal Commissioner in Hisar on 27th August. Prior to this, she has also served as ADC in Karnal, SDM of Narayangarh, Additional Municipal Commissioner in Gurugram and Faridabad Municipal Corporation.
