Pankaj Chaudhary said that all of us people of Kurmi community are descendants of Sardar Patel. The respect that Sardar Patel receives makes the Kurmi community also proud. We all try our best to follow the path shown by him with full self-respect. He is a source of inspiration not only for the Kurmi community but also for the entire countrymen. Sardar Patel’s ideas and ideals are still important in strengthening India as a nation. He said that today the Kurmi community needs to unite by taking inspiration from Sardar Patel. Unless we are politically empowered, there is no one to ask us. Therefore, we all have to forget our differences and come together strongly on one platform.

But even after that the Mandal Commission could not get constitutional status. Because after that the Congress government came again. After that, when the BJP government was formed under the leadership of Narendra Modi in the year 2014, then the work of giving constitutional status to the Backward Commission was done.
