US National Intelligence Director (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard has demanded a prosecution of former President Barack Obama and senior members of his administration. DNI has accused Obama of damaging Donald Trump’s victory in the 2016 election and later conspiring to weaken his presidential post. Tulsi Gabbard wrote on ‘X’, ‘Obama’s purpose was to remove President Trump from power and crush the American public’s will. No matter how powerful they are, every person involved in this conspiracy should be thoroughly investigated. The strict action should be taken under the law. The credibility of our democratic republic depends on this. We are all handing over the documents to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for criminal investigation.
According to a press release issued by the National Intelligence Director, on Friday, National Intelligence Director (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard offered evidence of how after President Trump won the 2016 election against Hillary Clinton, Obama and members of his national security team prepared a deliberate and political information to laying the foundation of the aagonent like President Trump. Prior to the November 2016 election, the Intelligence Community (IC) assessed that Russia was not trying to influence the election through cyber mediums.
There were allegations of foreign intervention in the election
After the 2016 election, on December 7, 2016, the then National Intelligence Director (DNI) was clearly stated in the talks prepared for James Clapper, “Foreign enemies did not carry out cyber attacks on the electoral structure to change the results of the US presidential election.” Two days later, on December 9, 2016, the then President Barack Obama held an important meeting at the ‘White House’, which included top members of the National Security Council (NSC). The meeting was attended by James Clapper, John Brainon, Suzanne Rice, John Kerry, Loreta Lynch, Andrew McKeb and other chief officers. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the situation related to Russia.
After the meeting, the Executive Assistant of James Clapper sent an email to the leaders of the IC, in which he was instructed to prepare a new Intelligence Community Assessment at the request of President Obama. This report was to explain in detail that ‘Moscow adopted what ways to influence the 2016 elections and what steps.’ The email further stated, “ODNI will lead the effort, which will contain the participation of CIA, FBI, NSA and DHS”. According to the National Intelligence Director, after this, Obama administration officials leaked false information to the media, including major news organizations such as ‘The Washington Post’. These reports claimed that Russia tried to intervene or influence the election results through cyber mediums.
Trump’s victory was proving wrong
Subsequently, a new Intelligence Community Assessment was released on 6 January 2017, which was completely opposite to the IC’s last six months of assault. After several months of investigation, it has come to light that this new intelligence assessment was based on information that people associated with it considered themselves wrong or incredible. According to the press release, it was an intelligence report prepared for political purposes, which was used to prove President Donald Trump’s victory wrong, Muller Investigation, Two Impeaching, several officers investigation, arrest and imprisonment to remove long -running cases and increasing tension between the US and Russia.
